Reordering PDF pages: what to know
When reordering helps
Pages end up in the wrong order more often than you might expect: double-sided documents scanned one side at a time, appendices that should come before the signature page, slides exported in the wrong sequence, or a cover page that landed at the end. Reordering fixes the document without re-scanning or re-exporting it.
How to reorder
Each page is listed with its current position and the position it had in the original file. Drag pages to a new spot, or use the arrow buttons to move one page at a time. Reverse Order flips the whole document, which is useful for scans that were fed back to front, and Reset Order returns to the original sequence. Select Apply Changes when you are happy with the order and download the result.
What is preserved
Pages are moved, not redrawn, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality. Each page keeps its size and rotation. The original file on your device is not modified.
Privacy
Reordering runs entirely in your browser. The PDF is loaded into memory on your device, the pages are rearranged there, and the new file is offered as a download. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
Related tools
To remove pages instead of moving them, use the Delete pages mode in PDF Split. To add pages from another document, use PDF Merge and then reorder the combined file. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before they can be reordered.
